According to police, a man walked into the Woodward Street business about 8.50pm and demanded some money.
The man bagged a sum of money and left the scene. The offence has been described as demanding money with menace.
The offender has been described as being of a solid build, about 30 to 40 years of age and he was wearing a black hoodie with grey tracksuit pants.
