There were three courts utilized and the kids played very well during their doubles matches, where some great shots were made.
There was a tie for first place between Billy Rollin and Darcy Schofield, who shared 18 games apiece.
Beau Gardiner, Patty and Steph Gersbach, all shared second place with 17 games each. Third place went to Angus on 16 games.
There were a few players who rocked up for our mixed comp on Wednesday night, and because of the wet forecast and light showers, we just had a casual set and finished early.
We had plenty of great tennis though, in that short time.
It was so lovely to see the rain.
The Indoor Tennis Club were also utilizing our complex on the night and have also hired our courts for Coaching lessons, because of the temporary closure of their Club due to the Coronavirus restrictions.
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, Ex-Services is being forced to temporarily close its doors until further notice.
Hopefully the delay won't be too long and all of our members can be out playing tennis in the very near future.
More information will be released in Saturday's column.
