The ODCA season was brought to a sudden close last week as coronavirus concerns swept through the region, shutting down nearly all sport.

We've already run through the best batting performances of the season, but the re-joined BOIDC brought plenty of strong bowling performances.
Five bowlers out up a better-than-five wicket haul, while there were 20 other five wicket hauls on top of that - we run through some of the best to wrap up season 2019-20.
Matt Fearnley (7-49 vs Kinross, round four)
Bowling performances don't get much more dominant than this.
St Pat's Old Boys speedster Matt Fearnley ate the Kinross top order for breakfast in round four, and then came back to have the middle order for sloppy seconds while he was at it.
Max Powell, Will Luelf, Alex Brien, Harry May, Mac Webster, Nick Rasmussen and Hugh McIntyre all fell to Fearnley's rampage on the Kinross Main Oval as the bullocking quick finished with 7-14 from 18 overs, before coming back next week to take 3-13 from 10 as his side unsuccessfully chased an outright win.
It was the only seven-wicket haul for the BOIDC season, and amazingly Fearnley's next-best haul was just three. However, he finished the season with 20 wickets, proving remarkably consistent across the year for St Pat's.
Aiden Macauley (6-8 vs City Colts, round three)
While Fearnley had the best haul of the season, his teammate Aiden Macauley had the best spell of the year second to none against City Colts on Loco Oval.
With Colts building a solid partnership at the top of the order, skipper Adam Ryan threw the ball to Macauley as first change, with the youngster dismissing Dave Sellers in his first over to take the first wicket for St Pat's.
Macauley would take the next five in five whirlwind overs, besting the top six of the Colts' order, sparking a collapse of 5-10 - of which he had all the wickets and very few of the runs.
Jeremy Thackney (6-57 vs Centennials Bulls, round eight)
While Ruby Union had a season which didn't quite reach expectations, Jeremy Thackney was a shining light for the club with 20 wickets across the year, including a six-wicket haul in round eight.
After the side posted 223, Thackney more than made up for being dismissed for a duck, nabbing five of the top six batters to finish with 6-57 from 29 overs and guide his side to a 36-run win.
George Cumming (6-66 vs Orange City, round seven)
George Cumming was one of two Orange bowlers to record a better-than-six wicket haul during season 2019-20 as the Kinross tweaker did his best to try and jag his side an unexpected win over the would-be premiers.
His six-wicket haul helped dismiss the Warriors for 198, and considering he was fifth change and tossed the ball with the score nearing 100, Cumming could have done more damage early.
He dismissed four of the top five before coming back to help mop up the tail with two more to finish with the devil's figures - 6-66. However, his side was unable to capitalise with the second week eventually washed out while the side was 3-127.
Chris Novak (6-89 vs Rugby Union, round two)
Former CYMS skipper Chris Novak completed a remarkable transformation into a leg-spinner in 2019-20 after dabbling with tweak in the past, and the start of the season made it look a masterstroke.
Novak struck into the lead on the wicket-tally early, with two wickets to open the season and a six-wicket haul the next round against Rugby Union, and with two bowled and an LBW he had the rugby batters in a spin.
However, the haul wasn't enough to get his side over the line, with a 142-run stand from the Qureshi brothers setting rugby on a course to declaring at 9-342, with CYMS all-out the next week for just 202.
Mitch Taylor (5-9 vs Bathurst City, round 7)
St Pat's Old Boys' bowling was near unstoppable in 2019-20, and that was in no small part because of Mitch Taylor.
The young gun left-armer was electric for the Saints at times during the season, and if we could include Royal Hotel Cup hauls in this piece Taylor's name would be appearing a few more times in this piece, but regardless he finsihed with the most brutal five-wicket haul of the BOIDC season.
Taylor took 5-9 against Bathurst City, the left-armer banging down 13 overs - seven of which were maidens - to help restrict the redbacks to 145.
Tim McKinnon (5-19 vs Kinross, round six)
Rugby Union got close to snaring an outright win against Kinross thanks to Tim McKinnon's 12 overs, taking 5-19 as his side rushed to dismiss the students a second time. While Mac Webster and Ed Taylor kept them two wickets short, McKinnon has the honour of being the only bowler on this list to take their haul in the second dig.
Brett Causer (5-22 vs Centrals, round one)
Centrals didn't have a fun opening round to the BOIDC. Dave Boundy whacked the first ton of the season against Daryl Kennewell's men as Orange City posted a massive 4-347, only for Causer to be thrown the new ball to make Centrals' run chase absolute misery, taking the first three wickets to see them slump to 3-3.
He'd take two more wickets to help bowl Centrals out for 111 and get the eventual premiers off to the perfect start to the season with a 236-run win, but sadly the pace bowler's season would be derailed by injury.
David Henderson (5-24 vs CYMS, round eight)
Henderson gets massive raps in this list as the player who has the player with the ninth and tenth best hauls of the season, with those two coming back-to-back.
The pace bowler snared 5-24 against CYMS to dismiss the green and golds for 203 - which proved to be more than enough, as we'll see in a moment - and then backed it up the next round with 5-26 against Centrals.
The Le Lievres (9-75 vs City Colts, round eight)
After Henderson's stellar haul bowled CYMS out for just over 200, the green and golds would need a miracle to keep their season alive - and a miracle the side got.
We know this is kind of cheating, but Hugh and Angus Le Lievre combined for a nine-wicket haul in that match while bowling 35 of the 45 overs for CYMS - with five wickets for Hugh and four for Angus. They dismissed City Colts for 148, pushing themselves back into the four with the season-defining win.
