The number of people testing positive for COVID-19 - the illness caused by a new strain of coronavirus - is ramping up in Australia.
After a slow increase following the first cases in late January, the disease is spreading much faster.
While the number of deaths so far is relatively low, these are likely to increase considerably over the next few weeks as emergency services become more strained.
This page, which will be updated daily, will show the latest available information on positive tests so far, as well as the number of people who have died from the illness.
The figures come with the caveat that the total number of people who have the illness is likely to be much higher. With only high-risk people being tested, many others - by some estimates around tenfold the official figure - are likely to contract COVID-19 without having it officially diagnosed.
