A snorkel, a pair of flippers and gumboots were among the finds when volunteers helping on Clean Up Australia Day tackled Lake Canobolas on Sunday.

Volunteer co-ordinator Bill Josh said about 10 people helped at the lake while smaller groups helped out at other sites around Orange.
Mr Josh said the decreasing level of water in the lake had enabled them to go further out to pick up rubbish.
"We combed the shores of the lake," he said.
"We went as far as we could in the deep mud. We got some old bottles, gumboots, flippers and a snorkel.
"I haven't seen it this low in 10 years. It's going down fairly quickly," he said.
Other planned clean up locations included Clifton Grove, Hill Park, Rotary Park and Moulder Park.
