It is understood the radio station was being run on 'automation' without staff in the building on Monday.
The security guard refused to comment on why he had been put in place at the Kite Street building.
Orange Community Broadcasters' secretary Darrell Hair said the station manager Farren Hotham's employment had been terminated following Sunday's special general meeting at the CWA Hall in Robertson Park.
Mr Hotham refused to comment on the issue on Monday stating there were legal implications.
Newly-elected OCB president Steve Turner said the station may be off the air this week.
"We regret that FM107.5 may be off air for some of the time over the next few days, and hope this does not cause any inconvenience," he said in a statement.
"The members of OCB are looking forward to getting back to the true meaning of community broadcasting to serve our communities."
The events unfolded after several months of disharmony at the community station over a change of format which had seen several presenters lose their on-air time slots.
The format changed to promote the station as "The Heart of Your Community."
Mr Turner said they wanted to make it clear to the wider community a new committee was now running the station.
He said four members of the committee of management, Damon Anderson, Ann-Maree Coyte, Geoff Langdon and Stephen Centofanti had been removed from the board at the meeting.
He said Mr Hair and treasurer Amanda Spalding had remained on the board.
The meeting also saw Tina Hernando and Addam Parish elected onto the board.
Mr Turner said Paul Tierney had been elected as vice-president at the special general meeting.
