A woman who hit another woman in the finger with a shovel has been convicted in Orange Local Court.

Jackline Jarrett, 40, of Gidley Street, Molong, was in a feud with the victim when she hit her at 3.40pm on March 31, 2019.
According to police, Jarrett had heard the victim comment about a missing scooter and came out of her backyard to confront her under a carport.
The victim stepped behind a pole and raised her hand when Jarrett swung the shovel, which hit the woman's index finger.
The victim then grabbed a second shovel and swung it at Jarrett and yelled "get back",
The shovels collided and the victim dropped her shovel, she then picked up a pole that was also under the carport and swung it at Jarrett to make her move back but Jarrett took it off her instead.
Jarrett was given three 12-month community correction orders for assault occasioning actual bodily harm, property damage, for damaging weatherboard on a house and intimidation.
