The 10 nurses, Kimberly Belmonte, Kayla Vale, Abbey Richards, Jessica Reid, Matthew James, Evie Benson, Emma Michael, Chiara Moore, Hannah Morrison and Joanne Savoy have completed the 2019 Transition to Professional Practice for new graduate Registered Nurses.
Nursing and Midwifery director Jo Dean and acting deputy Di Gardner presented certificates and hospital badges to the new Registered Nurses at a ceremony that was conducted on Friday.
Ms Dean spoke to the Registered Nurses about continuing employment for all of them this year.
She said some of the graduates would begin a specialised rotation in the critical care units and operating theatres.
Others would continue to develop their skills in the medical, surgical and paediatric units.
Ms Dean also praised their efforts of the graduate Registered Nurses and thanked them for their hard work and achievements from throughout the last 12 months at Orange Health Service where they each learnt new skills and developed as a nurse.
Ms Dean and the Nursing and Midwifery department wished each of the graduate Registered Nurses all the best in their continuing nursing career.
