The Australasian Cultural Group of Orange has teamed up with The Yoga Room and Ananda Yoga to host a night at Kenna Hall.
The yoga session will be $10 and food $5, with money donated to the Rural Fire Service.
Organiser Sumitha Gounden said yoga was all about balance between the mind, soul and body, but also with nature.
"With the calamity that's happened, we need to be thinking about living with nature," she said.
She said the RFS was selected as the charity because they were on the front line.
"We don't know when a bushfire will strike us and we are vulnerable where we live," she said.
A team of 25 volunteers, including staff from Orange Health Service, will prepare meals including butter chicken, vegetarian spring rolls and samosas, papadums, chickpea curry and dal makhani, as well as sweets and slices.
The night will start at 6pm at the hall, located at 84 Hill Street, ending at 9pm.
Ms Gounden said no registrations were necessary and although the event was organised by the cultural group, it was open to the general community.
"It's beyond race, religion and culture," she said.
It has been Australia's lost summer. Drought, hail, floods and, worst of all, bushfires have ravaged communities all over the nation. But the selfless actions of friends, family, neighbours, strangers, local groups and volunteer organisations have inspired us and strengthened the bonds of community.
