The events are held annually but this year will be in Orange following 2019's Lithgow meet, with clubs from as far as Lake Cargellio, Mudgee, Cowra and Glenbrook attending the meeting, which is hosted by the Orange Aquatic Club.
OAC president Michael Thornhill said swimmers would mainly be aged between six and 18, with nearly 90 of the event's 300 swimmers coming from both the OAC and Kinross Wolaroi Swim Club.
"A lot of kids have their school carnivals at the moment and will be looking to improve themselves ahead of that," Thornhill said.
"However most will have their eyes on the NSW Country Championships in two weeks time in Sydney.
"Some will be looking to get that time in order to make the championship but a lot who have their times will be looking to improve their times so they get a better seed."
Thornhill, who is also the meet director said it would also be a good chance for smaller clubs like Canowindra, Molong and Blayney to compete at a bigger stage, too.
"This is the biggest event we have out here for the year," he said.
Competitions are run from 10am on Saturday and 9am on Sunday.
