Griffith will lead the Breakers into battle against Tasmania on Tuesday then and Western Australia on Thursday at North Sydney Oval.
Should the Breakers win both those games, it would ensure they host this season's Women's National Cricket League final.
Litchfield will play both games ahead of the biggest game of her career as part of the bushfire charity bash on the SCG as a curtain-raiser to the Big Bash Final at the SCG alongside Shane Warne, Ricky Ponting and some of the biggest names in Australian cricket.
Given the Breakers currently top the WNCL ladder and are chasing a record 21st title, there is plenty of pressure on them to produce.
For Griffith, Tuesday's match against the currently fifth placed Tasmania will mark her third game as the Breakers captain.
The 27-year-old is likely to bat in the top order - possibly as opener - as well as forming part of the bowling attack in the 50-overs-a-side fixtures.
