"My boyfriend and I were both teary, he looked at me and said 'I'm so proud of you', he was so happy."
Miss Sarsfield was styled by Adele Hawke of Adele's Salon and her makeup was done by Lauren Liebich from La Bella Medispa
The 2019 Miss Priscilla Erin O'Leary was on hand to place Miss Sarsfield's sash on her when the announcement was made.
She has a very busy schedule throughout the festival, appearing at a number of events.
"I'm very nervous, but I'm excited," she said.
"I just visited two Parkes nursing homes, meeting the residents and taking photos with them was beautiful."
My grandparents brought me to Parkes as a kid a few times and I dressed up as Priscilla, I had the wig and everything.
