Milissa Lennon joined the Animal Rescue Collective, saying she felt devastated by the damage done.
"As human beings, we can look after ourselves if we live in a dangerous area - we can get food, we can stay with friends, but animals can't do that," she said.
Miss Lennon and friends have set up a hub for collections, the first west of the Blue Mountains.
West Orange Self Storage has donated a container for the next three months and donations can be brought there on Mondays and Thursdays at 8am-9am and 5.30pm-6.30pm.
"The response has been so humbling - I've filled a bedroom since Friday," Miss Lennon said.
She asked for all items to be clean and in good condition to ensure they were usable.
McCarthy's Pharmacy will also accept donations and has already contributed medical supplies.
Accepted food items include hay and chaff, good quality bird seed and macropod pellets, while sought-after medical items include saline wash, medi-swabs, cotton buds and pads, syringes and any form of dressings and bandages.
Bedding, such as cotton sheets, blankets, puppy training pads and clean teddies for koalas and joeys, would also be welcomed, plus general items such as pet bowls, 10-litre water casks, jerry cans, paper towel and baby wipes.
Donations will be transported to the fire grounds across multiple runs.
