Lucknow Church warden and licensed lay minister for the Bathurst diocese Deirdre Beasley said the doors will be thrown open to people from across the region to join in the Christmas Carols and Readings Service.
Ms Beasley said the service would be conducted by Reverend Gary and Reverend Anne Neville at 6.30pm at the historic church in Newman Street.
Ms Beasley said people of all denominations and ages would be welcome at the Christian service.
She said it will include a combination of traditional and contemporary Christmas carols and readings related to the carols.
"It will be a service we've been running for many years," Ms Beasley said.
Following the reading there will be a light supper served at the Lucknow School Community Hall.
