With Bathurst City, Cavaliers and St Pat's Old Boys also picking up wins the middle of the table remains congested as they chase the dominant Warriors while Centrals proved they might be able to do something this summer with their maiden win, a fighting and thrilling victory.
Meanwhile, the pre-season favourites in City Colts continue to languish in the competition's cellar and are now the only winless side through three rounds.
CAVALIERS (9-363 declared) def CYMS (184) by 179 runs
After resuming unbeaten on 174 Cavaliers skipper Matt Corben elected to bat on and give himself a chance to notch just the third double ton in Orange's MyCricket era, it didn't quite play out that way though and he was quickly dismissed having added just two more to his tally.
His maroons were 6-357 at the beginning of day and his was one of three wickets that fell early on day two although they ended up being the only real highlights of CYMS' day.
Corben declared not long after the start of play at 9-363 and CYMS didn't start well as Mitch Black picked up Matt Baker (6) in just the sixth over of the chase, the first of his five wickets for the afternoon.
He then snared Angus Le Lievre (1), Aquinder Dhillion (4), Ed Johnson (18) and Jarrod Urza (0) to finish with excellent figures of 5-61 from a whopping 28 overs, with CYMS eventually succumbing 179 runs short of their target.
Tom Belmonte (44) provided some resistance at the top of CYMS' order and skipper Hugh Le Lievre (24) made a start in the middle-order, while Chris Novak finished with 44 from number 10 to add a bit more respectability to his side's chase.
Cavaliers veteran Chris Martin also picked up 3-10 from nine miserly overs as his maroons secured their second win on the trot, handing CYMS their second defeat in a row in the process.
ORANGE CITY (9-361 declared) def RUGBY UNION (181) by 180 runs
Orange City skipper Ed Morrish was the star of the show again for the Warriors as they claimed their third gigantic win on the trot to remain unbeaten on top of the competition ladder, incredibly they're yet to be bowled out this summer too.
After his side posted 5-275 on a tricky, day one wicket at Country Club Oval Morrish elected to continue batting on Saturday afternoon to try and take Rugby Union out of the game, which he did almost on his own.
He resumed on 68 and promptly went on to notch his maiden top grade ton, bringing up his century with a six and belting another before declaring with his tally at 109 and the Warriors' at 9-361.
Nathan Rosser provided excellent support early in the day, after resuming on 56 he finished with 89.
With victory out of the question for Rugby Union the Bulldogs' task became survival in a bid to salvage a draw and they almost managed it, but fell just short in the dying overs of the day.
The Bulldogs began their dig with little more than 60 overs remaining in the day and lasted 58 of them, before eventually being bowled out for 181.
Morrish (2-10) completed his man-of-the-match effort with two scalps while Matt Roberts (2-30), Brett Causer (2-44) and Brad Johnson (2-45) all picked up multiple wickets too, as did young Jarryd Seib on debut, he claimed 2-6 from five overs.
BATHURST CITY (243) def CENTENNIALS BULLS (203) by 40 runs
Mark Day was the star for Bathurst City on day one last week and Ben Orme assumed that role on Saturday's second day, as Redbacks handed Centennials their first loss of the 2019-20 summer.
Day's 126 - his maiden top grade ton - set up Redbacks' tally of 243 and after resuming at 1-4 at Bathurst Sportsground on Saturday afternoon Centennials eventually fell 41 runs short of their target, wickets falling consistently as their chase petered out.
Orme snared four of them to lead his side to victory, finishing with 4-73 from his 24 overs and receiving great support from new-ball partner Michael Tobin (3-47) and English spinner Harrison Craig (2-45).
Joel Gurney (53) made the biggest impact for the Bulls with another half-century but he couldn't go on with the start, neither could Mick Hutchinson who made 35.
Redbacks' victory was their second of the summer and they're now locked in a three-way battle for second spot with the Bulls, Cavaliers and St Pat's Old Boys.
CENTRALS (243) def KINROSS (190 & 3-174) by one wicket
Although they appeared dead in the water heading into the second day Centrals managed to turn their fortunes around and pick up their first win of the season, a thrilling, one-wicket win inspired by a Fletcher Rose ton.
Rose resumed unbeaten on nine with his side on the ropes at 7-84 and still needing more than 100 for victory against Kinross, but slowly edged his side closer as every over passed, taking the reins in the chase alongside his tail end.
He lost Zac Reimer and Daryl Kennewell on the way before Ed Dodds valiantly held up and end as Rose secured victory for the red and blacks, they eventually won by a solitary wicket and then went on to build a 53-run lead as Rose passed triple figures finish with 116.
Centrals went in search of maximum points after being bowled out but Alex Brien and Max Powell fought off any chance of an outright result with a 92-run stand at the back end of the day, Brien finished unbeaten on 83 and Powell was also not out when stumps were called on 55.
ST PAT'S OLD BOYS (8-345 declared) def CITY COLTS (96 & 7-211) by five wickets
For the first time in the opening three rounds of the summer City Colts made somewhat of an impact with the bat, although it came too late as they'd already sacrificed first-innings points to St Pat's Old Boys to remain winless.
Incredibly, despite making that small impact, City Colts still almost suffered an outright defeat.
St Pat's Old Boys picked up those first-innings points by five wickets on day one and worked their way to a 155-run lead by stumps, carrying on after resuming at 7-251 on Saturday to turn that into an unassailable, 249-run lead before declaring.
After smashing an unbeaten 120 last weekend Connor Slattery added another 32 to his tally to raise his bat for a third time, he finished not out after adding a quick-fire 84 for the eighth wicket with Jeremy Russell (58).
After a number of underwhelming stints at the crease City Colts finished the day 7-211 to at least show some promise with willow in hand, but the Saints were still the aggressors as they went just three wickets short of maximum points.
Jaden Ekert made 44 and Dave Sellers 37, but Slattery was the star again as he snared 4-62 to complete a massive, man-of-the-match effort.
