Bunnings will partner with GIVIT which connects charities, groups and councils with communities were aid is required.
Bunnings' Debbie Poole said she was pleased the team could pick up the barbecue tongs and help support those affected.
"As a part of those local communities who have been affected, we want to help," she said. "Many of our regional teams have already been assisting impacted communities on a local level but we had team members from all over Australia also wanting to lend a hand for these two important causes."
GIVIT CEO Sarah Tennant said 100 percent of all funds raised through Bunnings will be used to purchase essential items for those affected.
"We are also committed to purchasing locally wherever possible to support the economic recovery of these affected areas," she said.
In August 2018 Bunnings contributed more than $1.25million for drought impacted communities through fundraising sausage sizzles as well as accepting donations.
In February more than $310,000 was raised for flood affected communities in Townsville and bushfire impacted communities in Tasmania.
