The first round of scholarships range in value from one-off payments of $3000 through to covering 100 per cent of a student's tuition fees.
Director of the Charles Sturt Advancement Office Ms Sarah Ansell encouraged prospective and current students to apply.
"Often students in need of financial assistance are either unaware of the scholarships on offer or believe they have no chance of being awarded one," she said.
Applications for the first-round scholarships close at 11.59pm on December 3.
Applications for Charles Sturt's accommodation scholarships, and Droder scholarships and prizes will close on January 14, while no entries for the university's main round scholarships will be accepted after February 5.
Charles Sturt awards $3 million in scholarships and grants annually to assist students of all backgrounds to access higher education.
The full list of the University's scholarships and grants can be found on the Charles Sturt website.
