BreastScreen NSW has set up its mobile clinic in McNamara Street, alongside Robertson Park, until Sunday.
Health promotion officer Kath Bennett expected to complete 20 breast screens a day during the visit, looking for any abnormalities and signs of cancer.
"It's a 20-minute appointment - an X-ray will be taken of both breasts and the results take two weeks," she said.
"[Breast cancer] is still the most common cancer in women - a lot of people think family history is one of the biggest risks, but nine of of 10 women diagnosed don't have any family history at all."
It can increase options for treatment if it's found early, and the chance of survival.

Ms Bennett said the screening could detect a lump the size of a grain of rice.
"It used to be a pea, but it's long before anyone would be able to feel it," she said.
"It can increase options for treatment if it's found early, and the chance of survival."
The clinic will accept walk-ins, but appointments are recommended as opening hours change day to day - call 132 050.
The mobile clinic will also be at North Orange Shopping Centre on November 12-30.
