Awards were presented at the official opening on Thursday with Clearwater Tanks from Manildra winning Best Local Exhibit.
The awards were based on the presentation of the sites with the Clearwater Tanks site including a display of water troughs of various shapes and sizes as well as a tank-shaped shelter.
Clearwater Tanks owner Ben Allcorn said the business has exhibited at the Field Days for nine-years and was busy this year with people wanting water toughs and tanks as other water sources dry up due to the drought.
"Everyone needs water," Mr Allcorn said.
"A lot of people are going for bigger tanks these days just for bit better storage.
"We send them to Victoria, right down to Tasmania and everywhere.
"We do real well here it being our local [Field Day]."
The Best Exhibit of the Field Days was awarded to Toyota Material Handling which had a display of Toyota brand machinery including forklifts, scissor lifts, sweepers and scrubbers.
One of the site's main attractions, was a Custom Activity Centre built by the Owlpine Group for corporate hospitality.
The container was set up at the Bathurst 1000 this year and includes a roof-top viewing deck, plasma televisions, airconditioning, a sink with water pump and a kitchen with two ovens.

Toyota Material Handling Pty Ltd Central West brand manager Richard Bopping said it was hard to measure sales at the Field Days but it was about brand sales recognition and it was also a chance to meet with existing customers.
"This is only the second year back after a long break," Mr Bopping said.
"It's about 13 years since we've been at the Field Days previously."
