Sydney has just been confirmed as the host city for the events which are expected to bring millions of dollars to the economy.
The event will coincide with Sydney's annual Mardi Gras event.
Orange360 general manager Caddie Marshall said there would be scope for the tourists to be attracted to regional areas.
"We might do some targeted marketing. It can be something we could develop," she said.
"In the lead in we could reach out to the organisers and say here is an invitation to have a real regional experience.
"That's what they're after, an authentic Aussie experience."
Ms Marshall said it would also tie-in with plans to establish a LGBTQI festival in Orange.
She said she would be meeting with the festival organisers soon to discuss their plans for the first event which is due next year.
