Orange360 general manager Caddie Marshall said it would help property owners "capitalise on the opportunity" presented by the growing number of Cadia contract workers needed at the mine.
Ms Marshall said they were looking at the existing situation and into the future when Cadia begins filling 'hundreds of jobs' announced in a $685 million mine expansion this week.
"We've been in discussion for about the last three months. We will be working as a partner with Cadia," she said.
"It's about making sure we are managing our accommodation."
Ms Marshall said the forums would be open to people seeking to rent their homes, part of their homes or farms to mine workers.
She said it would also help people looking to provide housing for tourists.
Ms Marshall said rural owners could look at using a second farmhouse for farmstay accommodation.
The advice would include how to market the properties and checks to ensure properties were compliant with local government regulations and other requirements.
Ms Marshall said Orange360 was also examining Cadia's schedules to reduce the chance of clashes between regular maintenance programs at the mine, which attracted an influx of contract staff to Orange, and our major tourist festivals.
She said Orange360 had not previously been represented in these discussions.
"Last time [a mine boom attracted hundreds of workers to Orange] we weren't at the table," she said.
"We have been invited to the table by Newcrest [this time]."
Meanwhile Cadia has said it would work on efficient water use ahead of the expansion.
A spokeswoman said Cadia used water from onsite water storage, water licences and recycled water.
She said Cadia had 160-180 megalitres of water in use daily but through recycling the net water used was 30 megalitres a day.
"Cadia continues to identify initiatives and measures to improve water efficiencies through water saving initiatives in the plant and optimisation of onsite bores to utilise as part of its day to day operations," she said.
"These efficiencies will be incorporated into the approved Cadia East Expansion Project."
