For Benjamin Short Grove residents Tim Johnson and Lynn Marks, looking for romance at an aged-care facility was not part of the plan.
And now they're engaged.
The pair met when Mr Johnson moved into the Mission Australia run facility in July last year.
While the couple didn't bond immediately, Mr Johnson's support for Lynn during a difficult time in her life brought the pair together.
The whole day went beautifully, and we will never forget it

"We had just moved into the same room downstairs, and it felt like the right moment. I asked her - 'how would you like to be engaged?' She looked at me and said 'are you proposing to me?' And I said 'yes'", Mr Johnson said.
Miss Marks said it was Tim's kindness that first attracted her to him, a sentiment which is echoed by the groom-to-be.
"In Lynn, I have found someone who will love me for who I am. Every time I see her, I feel happy, and she helps me through the tough times in life," he said.
Mission Australia through a party recently to celebrate the couple's engagement.
Residents, friends and family enjoyed a barbecue lunch in the facility's garden, cake and a dance party.
Mission Australia Lifestyle and Leisure Coordinator Wendy Napier said this was the first time there'd been an engagement at Benjamin Short Grove.
"We wanted to celebrate with something special. We are so excited for the happy couple, and wish them all the best in their relationship," she said.
The bride-to-be said the day was "perfect".
"The whole day went beautifully, and we will never forget it," she said.
Mr Johnson said the decor was delightful, despite the colour scheme not being his usual taste.
"The rooms were all done up, and the colour theme was pink and purple. I would have preferred red and black myself, but relationships are all about compromise, aren't they?" Mr Johnson said.
The loved up duo are yet to lock down a wedding date, choosing to enjoy life as an engaged couple for a while.
Benjamin Short Grove provides aged care for people experiencing homelessness and disadvantage in Orange and Cabonne.
