The Orange Soccer Clubs Blood Rivals Competition has only days left to run with Barnstoneworth United, Millthorpe Tigers, Waratahs and CYMS joining with the ODFA to help boost blood stocks at the Australian Red Cross Blood Service.
On Saturday, Barnies' side Brighouse put the club ahead of its rivals with a mass donation at the Kite Street blood bank.
Wearing their distinctive green and white striped playing jerseys, players and WAGS spent the morning donating whole blood and plasma.
The clubs have until Friday to donate to clinch the title of Orange soccer blood donation champions for the 2019 season.
Brighouse team manager, Murray McCloskey, said Saturday's donation showed how much team spirit the players and WAGS have for not only the club but also the community.
The blood drive coincided with a team function in which a number of awards were handed out, with Brighouse goalkeeper Chad Bliss given the team manager's award, utility Paul Crain the season's best and fairest and defender Glenn Martin the rising star award.
McCloskey, who scored three goals this season, was awarded a man bun for two own goals in the same game by goalkeeper Bliss.
