Among them there's an ex-NRL star, someone who's more than once been labelled "the best player not playing in the NRL", a back-to-back premiership-winner and a bloke who led a cellar-dwellers' unbelievable revival that finished in the post-season.
Seriously... the Central Western Daily's experts have a favourite from their nominees here, but we don't envy you as the public having to split these blokes.
Good luck.

1 JONO VAN VEEN (Lithgow Workies)
Lithgow didn't win a game without Jono Van Veen this season, not one, and they nigh on went undefeated with him in the side - if we're talking influence, this is it.
Workies were winless and last through the first month of the season before Van Veen returned and promptly led them to nine wins from their last 12 games of the regular season including a stunning, six-game streak.
Two of those losses were to eventual champions Bathurst Panthers and they were narrow, while the one defeat he didn't play in was a 64-4 hammering at the hands of Hawks.
They finished fourth after that resurgence and despite being beaten by Mudgee in the minor semi-final, it's impossible to argue Van Veen wasn't the biggest factor in that run to the post-season.
2 JACK LITTLEJOHN (Mudgee Dragons)
A veteran of 21 NRL appearances and 20 more in the English Super League, it was clear from the outset Littlejohn was a cut above in terms of class, he's one of those players who look like they're in slow motion.
With Mudgee desperate to make up for a lacklustre seventh finish in 2018 Littlejohn's recruitment coincided with a number of former stars returning to the ranks, and he got the best out of his Dragons.
He was particularly dangerous when he took on the line and, as you'd expect, his kicking game was often a catalyst for the Dragons.
Did look restricted in the grand final and we question whether he was playing hurt, but was still among Mudgee's best in that one-point loss.
3 WILLIE HETA (Orange Hawks)
When he signed with Hawks he was labelled 'the best player not in the NRL' and while that's a lofty tag to live up to, he's dominated since arriving and did so again in 2019.
Like Littlejohn he simply seems to have so much time with the ball and his strength in contact is unbelievable, which is why he so often slices straight through defensive lines when he takes them on.
He had the ball on a string in terms of his boot again and had a hand in most of Hawks' tries this year but, most importantly, he simply made a lot of players around him better, and that's the mark of the classiest of halves.
4 WILLIE WRIGHT (Bathurst Panthers)
Was the grand final hero in 2018 and he had the chance to be again this year and while Doug Hewitt eventually took that mantle Wright's place in this list is unquestionable, because was huge again in 2019.
A hostile presence on the left edge, Wright's ability to create opportunities for his outside men is all but unparalleled and that was proven by the sheer amount of tries Panthers scored down that side - 38 through Wright, Blake Seager, Kevin Murray and Louis Murphy.
Deservedly became a back-to-back premiership player this season.
5 CLAUDE GORDON (Cowra Magpies)
Sits amid a cast of superstars in this list but make no mistake, Gordon's influence at the Magpies was huge in 2019 even though he missed a handful of games.
While Gordon's played a somewhat enigmatic role in the past, in partnering the unpredictable Joey Bugg in the halves he was charged with becoming the senior partner of the two, necessarily leading and directing traffic with aplomb.
He and Bugg did mix and match at times, especially toward the end of the season, but Gordon played his role well to lead the Magpies to fifth.
