Some people are saying I will close the roads because I did not get my way.

These laws have been there for years, we have implemented them at times, as have other brigades, when our or the public's safety is a priority.
I would like these people who berated us, to ask themselves this question, would you go out on the road/highway any hour of the day, in any weather, especially in Orange winter, and have trucks, cars etc going past at 100km/h per hour, about a meter from where you are working, getting abuse from some motorists because they are inconvenienced, and do it for no pay?
Going to these incidents, costs Rural Fire Service volunteers in time money, and some occasions, they see things that people should never see.
One day it could be these people or their family, who comment, in a car crash or their home burning and want our help, would they winge then?
WHAT DO YOU THINK?
