Volunteers have been across Orange all week selling tickets, which raise much needed funds to help mental health clients on the Bloomfield campus.
Auxiliary publicity officer Tania O'Donahue said the funds raised from the raffle went to an important cause.
"It goes towards helping out families who need a place to stay when their loved ones are sick ... and we also buy presents for patients at Christmas and Easter time," she said.
"It's very important for us to help patients out ... the smile on their faces are wonderful."
There are 10 prizes for the raffle, with the major prize $1000 donated by Cadia.
Tickets will still be sold from 10am to 3pm Saturday at Woolworths on Anson Street and will be sold until October 5, with the raffle drawn on October 9.
