Smith has been named on the bench for the tri-colours in their opening-round clash with the New Zealand Warriors at AAMI Park.
The match will be played as a curtain-raiser to the men's NRL Qualifying Final - between the Melbourne Storm and Canberra Raiders.
Smith missed the inaugural NRLW season due to a knee reconstruction.

"I'm so grateful I've got the opportunity to say I'm part of the NRLW," she said.
