Thieves used a brick to smash a window to the Clinton Street office overnight on Saturday, which is located two-doors down from the cafe.
The intruder took car and Airbnb property keys, an Apple MacBook laptop and around $10,000 worth of cafe gift vouchers.
Mr Norris said while he's insured against theft replacing keys and vouchers is time consuming, in addition to being costly.
"It's more inconvenient than anything," he said.
The police do try but it'd be handy if council would put CCTV cameras on the street.

A staff member discovered the break in when they showed up to work at about 6.45am on Sunday, finding the front and back doors open, in addition to the broken window.
Mr Norris said he thinks this type of crime is happening "a fair bit" around Orange and he was not feeling hopeful of recovering the stolen good.
"The police do try but it'd be handy if council would put CCTV cameras on the street," he said.
The Byng Street cafe put the message out to genuine recipients of the cafe vouchers to come forward so their value could be honoured.
