The two sides went through almost identical regular-season campaigns in 2019 before coming to a head in the major semi-final, with Orange City claiming victory over the minor premiers in that clash to earn direct passage to the grand final.
Life Studio went on to beat Orange Physiotherapy Vipers in the preliminary final last weekend, setting up a decider for the ages at Sir Neville Howse Stadium this weekend.
Considering that the Lions will enter the decider as front-runners as they go in search of their club's 12th straight premiership win, but it looks to be a pretty even-money bet heading in, based on 2019 so far.
The two sides finished deadlocked on competition points following the regular season with 12 wins and two losses apiece, with a narrow, 0.20 percentage difference securing the minor title for Life Studio.
Of their two regular season encounters both sides claimed one, with Life's other loss coming at Vipers' hands at the Lions' at the OHS Hornets'.
They finished one-two in the competition's attacking and defensive numbers as well, respectively, with Life Studio scoring 761 goals to Orange City's 751, and conceding 505 to the Lions' 507, accounting for that minuscule percentage advantage.
This weekend's grand final will start at 3.15pm, on Sir Neville Howse Stadium's show court.
