Committee member Learne Spicer said the amount raised at the '80s night at Orange Ex-Services' Club in July exceeded the $15,000 target and would help the family cover household expenses and regular trips to Sydney and Melbourne for tests.
"If anything comes back in the next MRI, the rest will go to the airfares to get [Lily's mother] Del and [brother] Oscar overseas with Lily to get treatment," she said.
Mrs Spicer described the support from the Orange community as amazing, especially in a time of drought.
Lily, who has Anaplastic Ependymoma, will have another MRI in November.
