The defender will mark a hat-trick of grand finals, and be hoping to claim a second premiership in Tigers colours.

He joined the club in 2016 and said this year had been "most fun" year he's been a part of.

The defender has been lining up at full back for three of those years, but was sent down back in Dubbo in 2017 to stem first quarter bleeding and said "I can't seem to get myself out of there".

The last few weeks Hunt's been able to move forward which he's loved, but with Sam Neville unavailable for this week's decider he's likely to move down back - which after injuring his finger last week might be for the best.

"I try every week to get up there but last week it might have been the football gods' way of telling me not to go up there," he said.

He said he was far less nervous heading into Saturday's match than he was last week, with the knowledge the grand final will be the last game of 2019 giving more certainty than last week's preliminary final against the Giants.
