Bryant won the 2016 Dave Scott medal on the back of his man of the match performance in the 2016 Group 10 grand final at Wade Park, the Dragons trumping CYMS in pretty terrible conditions.
The conditions won't be the same on Sunday when Mudgee's 2019 side make the trip to Orange to take on Hawks in the preliminary final.
He loves this time of the year and is made for finals footy.
- Dragons legend Jared Robinson on the in-form Hamish Bryant
But one thing will be the same - Bryant's form.
Playing with zero self-preservation, Bryant led Mudgee's pack against a formidable Lithgow Workies side last week and helped the red and whites return from 16-0 down to win 36-30.
Mudgee veteran Jared Robinson said Bryant's timely return to form was an ominous one at the business end of the season.
"Hamish Bryant backing up from his massive game last week. He loves this time of the year and is made for finals footy," Robinson said.
"I think the talk and direction Jack Littlejohn provides could be pivotal as well. Making the grand final would be huge for the club."
Mudgee will line-up in the under 18s league tag as well.
