The rubbish was dumped outside the old St Vincent de Paul building in McNamara Street which used to have clothing donation bins.
Vinnies no longer uses the site and the new operators have placed an anti-dumping sign on the window but it did not stop the rubbish from being dumped there.
Vinnies moved its retail operation to Peisley Street but is yet to announce a new site for clothing donations.
Meanwhile the Salvation Army Family Store at the corner of Summer and Peisley streets is again accepting clothing donations after stopping receivals in July when it was full.
Store manager Col Barnes said 12 volunteers had joined but they were seeking more people to help out.
