The side is just two wins away from raising the cup, and after taking care of Lidcome and Newport post gala day the youngsters are full of beans after breaking into the top four in the state.
They head to Enveavour Sports High School in Cronulla on Wednesday to take on Temora, and mentor Drew Bale said his side is "chomping at the bit" to get back onto the field and fight for their place in a grand final.
"Our last game was three weeks ago so they've been up for it for three weeks," he said.
Bale reckons this OPS side is one of the best the school's had, and has the chance to pass the previous best finish of third by nabbing a grand final spot.
"They're one of the better teams we've had, I think they're up for it," Bale said.
"They're a good handy team all across the park ... last year we had a really good side and most of them have kept going this year.
"Some of them haven't played union before but they're really coach-able."
Defence has been a key after keeping Newport - who Bale rates as a side - scoreless when they met them.
"Some of the young guys are in the forward pack and they know how to ruck and they can dominate the ruck and they're just really quick and they're away."
No Sydney teams have made the top four, which Bale said was a great sign for rugby in the west, but his kids aren't too fussed about who or where they play - they just want to get on the field.
"They're all keen, it's more excitement than nerves at this stage, they're eager and they love it."
