Regional Transport and Roads minister Paul Toole said stops at Tarana and Rydal would be added to the schedule for both the existing Bullet and the second train from September 16.
"Not only will Rydal and Tarana locals be able to get on board the Bathurst Bullet 2.0, the existing service will also stop at these stations. This means customers will have more choice than ever with access to the existing Dubbo-Sydney XPT service and the two Bullet services," he said.
Opal card readers have also been installed at both stations.
While Orange passengers have a bus connection to the existing Bullet train it is not still not clear with a connection will be provided to the second train.
