The Animal Welfare League will host a movie fundraiser at Odeon 5 Cinema.
The charity group will screen, A Dog's Journey, the sequel to 2017 hit, A Dog's Purpose, with ticket sales going towards medical bills, food, shelter and all the other costs which come with finding homes for animals in Orange.
The family-friendly film tells the story of a family's beloved dog Bailey, who is given the task of protecting a loved one as she takes off into the world as a young adult.
The film is based on the 2012 novel of the same name by Bruce Cameron.
Animal Welfare League's Jasmine Smart said the organisation took in two puppies with Canine parvovirus this week.
"A night like this can make a big difference and let us treat these guys without having to worry," she said.
There will be lucky door prizes, nibbles and a Friendly Dog Collars merchandise store for people to put in orders.
Movie tickets are $20 for adults, $18 for concession and $16 for children.
They are available through the Animal Welfare League Facebook page.
