Staff will be working on the roadside and at property accesses from Monday, July 29. No private property access is required for the work.
A spokesperson for Roads and Maritime Services said Bathurst and Orange were areas which potentially have naturally-occurring asbestos and Transport for NSW would use dust suppression techniques to ensure the safety of the community, road users and staff.

"While there is no risk to the public, workers will be wearing personal protective equipment while work takes place as a precaution," the spokesperson said.
Work will be carried out between 7am and 6pm from Monday to Friday and between 8am and 1pm on Saturday. It is expected to be completed in one week, weather permitting.
Changed traffic conditions may be in place, including reduced speed zones during work hours.
"Motorists should plan their trip, allow extra travel time and follow the direction of traffic control and all signs, including reduced speed limits," the spokesperson said.
"Transport for NSW thanks motorists for their patience during this time."
