The duo, who both spent time in the Intrust Super Shute Shield with Warringah and Gordon respectively, will once again start at halfback and five-eighth respectively, as their side comes up against a far more youthful and motivated greens outfit.
With Knox Bayliss was also the 2005 Kentwell Medal winner, NSW Suburban Rugby Union's highest individual honour, one which came the same year Emus coach Pete Bromley won coach of the year with the same club.
The Sydney-based club has made a handful of changes from last year's cup-winning side, although former Australian Sevens gun Andy Rasmus will return and there remains a local link in former CSU Bathurst aces Will Stuart and Richard Maxton.
"Last year's game was brutal, I think it was a bit of a surprise for everyone involved how physical it was," Knox prop Bryn Robertson said, his side ran away with a 47-24 victory in the end.
"It was tough, a great game of grassroots rugby and we're back to defend our title. We're not quite sure how it'll play out in the next few years but if we go down to a strong Emus this side this weekend we might have to come back for a third Test next year."

The Lachlan Robertson Memorial Cup clash is once again the focal point of the BrothersIVBrothers charity movement, which last year raised $65,000 that was split between Western Care Lodge and Orange Hospital's Clinical Trials Program.
The goal is to reach a similar amount in this year's drive and more than $40,000 has already been raised, with this weekend's festivities to add a significant boost.
"That's more than $100,000 we've raised for cancer care in Orange and the central west already, and we're up over the $900,000 mark in total since we started around seven years ago," Robertson, a founder of the charity, said.
"What we've managed to achieved is very exciting and we're thrilled to be able to try and build on that again this weekend, that is what it's really all about."

The Legends game kicks off around 5pm, following Emus' final-round local derby against Orange City.
The game will be followed by the BrothersIVBrothers Rock For A Cure function in the Endeavour Oval clubhouse, which will feature Rennie and the Jets on the music and a number of auctions and raffles.
