The women recorded a 3-nil loss to Marconi Stallions FC in NPL2, and while the men were able to hit the scoreboard they conceded a bigger margin, losing 6-1 to Stanmore Hawks in Bathurst.
Matt Hobby scored for the men's side, but the weight of scoring and attacking lay with the Hawks, with four players finding the back of the net.
Peter Yannopoulos and skipper Jovan Blagojevic both finished with braces, while Connor Quilligan and Oliver Stickland also scored once each for the Hawks.
The Mariners' men's side are four points clear on the bottom of the ladder with just two wins and with seven rounds left face an all but impossible task to avoid relegation.
However, this weekend they play 13th-ranked Granville Range, who are just the one spot ahead of them on the ladder, in their best chance of securing a third win on the run home in season 2019 when the two sides clash in Mudgee on Saturday.
The women's play SD Raiders FC in Orange on Sunday from 1pm, with their final three games for the season at Jack Brabham Park.
