Police were forced to terminate the pursuit of a silver Ford Falcon after a four-minute chase from the Northern Distributor Road to Autumn Street early on Sunday morning.

Acting Inspector Greg Payne said the pursuit began at 12.53am but was called off at 12.57am as the car was being driven in a dangerous manner.
He said the car was found abandoned in Mulhall Place and the car was seized by police.
Investigations are continuing into the incident.
In a separate incident a male driver was arrested after a pursuit in Glenroi about 6.08pm on Friday.
Acting Inspector Payne said the pursuit started at 6.06pm in Adina Crescent after the driver failed to stop as requested by police.
He said the pursuit stopped in Nyrang Street two minutes later where the driver was arrested.
The driver was granted conditional bail to appear in Orange Childrens Court on July 23.
He has been charged with being involved in a police pursuit, resisting police and driving with a suspended licence.
