Around 20 crafty members contributed to an entry into this year's Waste to Art competition, which was announced as the Community Two Dimensional category winner.
The group's creation, Revivid, depicts the Sydney Harbour Bridge all lit up at night time.
Pat Downey said they used strapping, twine and other scraps everyone collected.
"There's been a lot of work go into it and a lot of scrounging for pieces," she said.
Waste to Art is a community art exhibition and competition open to all local residents who reside in the NetWaste region.
NetWaste is a voluntary regional waste group formed in 1995 to provide collaborative approaches to waste and resource management.
Councils involved host local Waste to Art competitions and the winning artworks are then transported to a Regional Exhibition which is hosted by a different council each year.
There were 73 entries into this year's Orange competition, with the entries on display in the library throughout June.
As a result of the Senior Citizens win, Revivid will now head to Oberon for the annual Regional Exhibition.
The theme for 2019 was Baling Twine and Strapping.
