Unlikely, sure, but nonetheless something the two blues are hoping for.
Hawks are in a share for the competition lead with Panthers heading into this weekend's 11th round and player-coach Willie Heta said the week off has come at the right time, but he's not focusing on any potential minor premiership win.
"Look, I hate to look too far ahead but something like that, if it fell in our lap we'd definitely take it," Heta said.
"But a week-to-week focus has been working for us and we won't go away from that, we want to just keep improving after this week off, our defensive structures are one thing we'll really keep focusing on.
"The bye's come at a really good time for us because we are still working our way back to being at full strength ... we'll need [a full-strength squad] in the back end of the season.
"Any week off at this time of season is a good one really."
