The woman, who wished to remain anonymous, claimed the prize in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1357, drawn on Wednesday, June 19, but she only realised her good fortune when she checked her ticket on Friday.
Sharing her excitement, the winner revealed she'd been completely oblivious to her good fortune.
"I'm very surprised. I feel like I'm in a dream," she said.
We will certainly be celebrating our win with a trip overseas to visit some family.
"I've just come down to the local newsagency to check my ticket and it looks like I've won something big. I'm still in shock.
"I can't believe I've been walking around for the last 10 days or so with a ticket worth $200,000 in my wallet. It's amazing, it's just wonderful."
The woman said her unexpected windfall would significantly speed up retirement plans for her and her husband.
"We will be able to retire years earlier than we ever expected, which is fantastic," she said.
"We will certainly be celebrating our win with a trip overseas to visit some family."
The woman purchased her winning entry at Orange Central Newsagency.
Owner Gary Allen said he was relieved to know the winner had finally checked her ticket and realised her good fortune.
"We've been waiting so patiently for our customer to check her ticket," Mr Allen said.
"We are so pleased to have sold another major prize-winning entry and now we hope the jackpot prize will go to one of our customers next.
"It's great to see these big wins land within our local community. It just shows that people do win big prizes in their home towns."
