Bowen Public School marked the occasion in collaboration with Glenroi Heights Public School by coming together for a reconciliation week walk on Monday.
Nashdale Public School students learned the meaning behind this year's theme; 'Grounded in Truth, Walk Together with Courage'.
Students shared stories, created artworks and researched Australia history.
At Orange East Public School, students were invited to come dressed in colours to represent the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Flags on Friday.

For the out of uniform day, the students were asked to bring a gold coin donation to support the Fred Hollows Foundation.
Orange East chose to support Fred Hollows due to the Foundation's vision for reconciliation.
