It was a shootout at Jack Brabham Park, with the Central Coast side running out 6-2 victors thanks to a Danielle Wise hat-trick, with the striker scorer the final three goals of the match for her side.
Jade Mcatamney, Mikala Tucker and skipper Gabrielle Blanch all cashed in as well in the victory.
The two goals to McPhillamy were the second and third time she'd found the back of the net in season 2019.
The loss was Western's sixth for the season, with the side sitting eighth on the ladder but three games behind seventh-placed SD Raiders FC.
Meanwhile, the men's side lost 2-1 to Hawksebury City FC under lights in Sydney.
