Jane and Bill Fairgrieve, Marg Bowers and Cheryl Steward have put in 6000 hours volunteering with the house between them.
The four award recipients are among 111 volunteers who operate the house seven days a week, 365 days of the year, welcoming and caring for families from an area which covers 86 per cent of the state.
A lunch was thrown to acknowledge the work they perform at RMH Orange, which includes administration, housekeeping, fundraising and overnight stays.
RMH Orange executive officer Rebecca Walsh said since the house opened volunteers have contributed an amazing 50,753 hours of service.

"While we recently honoured the amazing effort of all our volunteers at our recent birthday celebrations, we feel National Volunteer Week is the ideal time to pay special homage to these seven volunteers who have made an exceptional contribution," she said.
Ms Walsh said long serving volunteers, like the ones acknowledged on Thursday, provided a consistency to families using the house.
"Volunteers like Bill and Jane who have been spending nights here from the start are familiar faces to families which provides a little extra comfort," she said.
Mrs Steward has also been volunteering at the house from the time it opened for families in April, 2015.
She said she started when she moved to Orange from Queensland to be closer to family.
"I'd always worked full time so when my daughter suggested I come out here I decided to," she said.
Mrs Steward said at first she found it quite overwhelming to see what families went through while their children received treatment.
"Because a lot of families are from out of town it can cause separation in the family. It's just lovely to think they have the support here and can spend time with their kiddies while they receive treatment in hospital," she said.
Mrs Walsh said while their army of volunteers is strong there is always an opportunity to get more hands on deck, particularly with regulars forced to take time off over flu season and for holidays.
Anyone interested in volunteering is invited to an information evening at the house on June 6 from 6pm. Call 63631960 for more info.
