Student learning is tipped to soar thanks to the addition of four modern classrooms, designed to change the lesson experience.
The rooms, which are mostly utilised by year sevens, are set up so students sit in groups rather than rows with no space for the teacher at the front of the class.

The Excellence in Academic Growth through Linked Education (EAGLE) coordinator Lynelle Maguire said the rooms facilitate a focus on skill development rather than traditional education practices.
She said the combined English, history and religious education classes work together to perform tasks which have purpose in a real world environment, with the acquisition of knowledge a byproduct of the skill development.
"The learning has to have a purpose for it to be authentic," she said,
"It's not about the amount of work in their notebooks."
The group work focused lay out of the classroom was created to help the young students integrate into highschool and get to know one another quickly.
They are currently working on a project, My world through the lens of me, which has tasked them with telling the history of the school, through outings and peer reviews assignments.
