The funds are to assist the organisers with marketing and promoting the event.
Relish Eugowra is an initiative of the newly formed Eugowra Events and Tourism Association.
It will take the form of a lunch event organised to take place during FOOD Week and focusses on showcasing local produce and Cabonne wines.
The produce to be used and promoted include Eugowra olive oil, quail, beef, honey and there will be local entertainment.
Relish Eugowra will be held at Eat Your Greens who have also provided the outdoor setting for the event.
In an application for funding submitted to Cabonne Shire Council, Eugowra events president Ron Hay said they hoped to attract up to 200 people, with at least 150 from outside Cabonne Shire.
"Buses have been organised to bring people from Orange, Forbes and Parkes," Mr Hay said.
Tickets include full menu, drink on arrival and table wines. Tickets can be booked at www.eventbrite.com.au
