Kinross Wolaroi proved too strong for The Armidale School on the back of big scores to Will Luelf (65) and Sam Ridley (44) despite the best efforts of TAS' Sam Skipper (78) in the final of the Douglas Shield on Tuesday.

The shield is a knockout 50-over tournament held every year by NSW Independent Schools Co-Ed Cricket.
Harry Kermode and Harrison May took 2-18 and 2-14 respectively, with Ed Taylor also claiming two wickets to have TAS 4-20.
TAS recovered to finish with 9-191 from their 50 overs before Ridley helped steer Kinross past the total with 10 overs to spare.
Alex Brien (38), Liam Buckley (30) and Phoebe Litchfield (20) also helped push the students' total to 8-241 from their 50 overs, sealing the title win by 51 runs.
Andrew Kirk took 3-40 for TAS, while Cotter Litchfield took 2-26 at the top of the Kinross order. \
