In Orange's current hot property market if what you see is a character-filled historic house for $210,000 then you're probably getting yourself a pretty good deal.
That's exactly what some buyers thought when they purchased a dilapidated house and flipped it ready for sale again six months later with an asking price of $380,000.
The house, which has no kitchen or bathroom, has not been fully restored, but it looks amazing on the outside and is located in a great position.
Granted it took a lot of work to get the house up to this state but it was worth it.
While once the house would have been untouchable to developers, now it's considered desirable.
If you're after a reason to think about investing in Orange here's yet another one.
Happy house hunting.
cheers
